KOLNISCHER KUNSTVEREIN

With a pillage of painted and computer-printed quotations lifted liberally from art and unexpectedly culture alike, the Berlin-based artist Michel Majerus exhibits a hybrid experience. Like a spectator before an interactive computer-animation riddle the visitor to Majerus's exhibit tos becomes at once observer and actor whose emotion through the space transforms the mural into moving pictures. At Kunstverein director Udo Kittelmann's invitation, Majerus will veil the interior surface of a skateboarders' half-pipe running the continuance of the 164-foot gallery. Glide in consequence of on foot or, even better, onward roller blades--but don't let the museum guards catch you! Oct 21-Dec 23
